This role is essential to recruitment, onboarding, compliance, training, employee relations, and daily HR administration. The Plant HR Administrator ensures plant operations remain aligned with company policies, federal and state regulations, and corporate HR initiatives while fostering a positive, supportive work environment.Scheduled Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.Required: Bilingual (English/Spanish) - must read, write, and speak both languagesWhat You'll DoRecruitment & OnboardingSchedule and conduct interviews for plant positionsFacilitate onboarding through the HRIS system (currently BambooHR)Complete all new-hire processes, including E-Verify, drug screening, fingerprint setup, and timekeeping entryConduct new-hire safety and health orientationsEmployee Support & RelationsServe as the first point of contact for plant employees regarding HR-related questions and concernsEducate employees on company benefits and assist with enrollments or waiversMaintain and monitor the attendance and point system; issue counseling and warnings as neededConduct exit interviews for resignations and terminationsMaintain daily communication with the HR Manager regarding employee complaints, disputes, and sensitive mattersTraining, Compliance & ReportingConduct base and level training sessions for plant staffGrade training tests and upload results into employee profiles in BambooHRMaintain accurate training, compliance, and personnel recordsCompile and distribute daily staffing and plant reports with supporting documentationTrack employee time punches and attendance recordsCulture & Administrative SupportParticipate in plant meetings and eventsCoordinate celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, and safety awardsMaintain HR-related supplies inventory (water, swag, snacks, etc.) and coordinate monthly needs with the HR Manager and PurchasingWrite and distribute memos, letters, correspondence, and forms as neededPerform other HR-related duties as assignedWho You AreEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in HR or business preferredVerifiable experience in HR administration within a manufacturing environmentSkills & CompetenciesFully bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak)Outgoing, professional, and approachable with strong communication skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to remain calm and professional in stressful situations while maintaining confidentialityGeneral knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practicesStrong ability to follow written and verbal instructionsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe, SharePoint, and HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred)Why You'll Love Working HereStable schedule with consistent weekday hoursMeaningful, people-focused work that directly supports plant operationsOpportunity to build strong relationships with employees and leadershipCollaborative, respectful culture rooted in service and partnershipGrowing organization with long-term career potentialA role where your work truly makes a difference every dayReady to Apply?If you're a bilingual HR professional who enjoys supporting front-line employees, partnering closely with leadership, and helping build a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace culture, we encourage you to apply.
