Production Technician

Description:

CardioQuip is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in the manufacturing, Maintenance, and design of Cardiovascular Operating room technology. We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Production Technician to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our products which are vital for medical applications.

Direct Report: Warehouse Manager

Works regularly with Warehouse Manager and Director of Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, and IT.

Responsibilities:

1. Assembly and Production:

  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot MCH-1000 devices following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of materials and final products to adhere to company and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes and product quality.

2. Maintenance and Repair:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and timely repairs on MCH-1000 devices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and fix issues related to electrical circuits and control systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

3. Continuous Learning :

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in refrigeration technology and CardioQuip products.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and job knowledge.

4. Safety Compliance :

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or practices to management promptly.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to undergo additional training as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to traverse the distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay
