Director Philanthropy – CHI
The Director‑Development will serve in a major gift capacity and manage a portfolio of prospects and donors to build and maintain a prospect and donor base for the Foundation. The Director will be a member of the team responsible for all operations and programs related to major gift fundraising efforts (gifts > $50,000), with a focus on identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gift prospects and donors. Provides support to St. Joseph Health philanthropic projects and programs to ensure all aspects are fully integrated and remain complementary, effective, and efficient. This position reports directly to the Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer of the St. Luke's Foundation.
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Seven (7) years of experience with direct gift solicitation, fundraising, and/or capital campaign efforts
• Five (5) years leadership experience required
