We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator I to support the preconstruction team during the bidding process. This role involves assisting with quantity takeoffs, gathering pricing from subcontractors and vendors, and helping to prepare accurate estimates and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications to identify scope of work
• Perform quantity takeoffs across multiple trades
• Request and organize pricing from subcontractors and vendors
• Help analyze subcontractor proposals for accuracy and scope alignment
• Communicate progress and any challenges to the preconstruction team
• Support the preparation and submission of bids
• Assist with documentation for project hand-off meetings
• Attend pre-bid site visits and share observations with the team
• Help plan and participate in preconstruction strategy meetings
• Maintain and update internal cost databases
• Continuously build knowledge and skills for advancement to Estimator II

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong math skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Familiarity with estimating software or database tools ()



Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs periodically
• Comfortable working both in an office and outdoor job site environments
• Adaptable to varying weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Able to work under pressure and collaborate effectively with a team
