Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Position Overview

The CFO will play a vital role in driving the company's growth and ensuring its financial health. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will provide strategic advice in financial management, operations, acquisitions, and scaling the business. Responsibilities include Financial Management, IT Operations, and Risk Management, as well as managing key vendor relationships.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Participate in developing organizational structure and relationships to ensure successful execution of business initiatives.
  2. Provide financial information, coaching, and training to facilitate sound decision-making, fostering a culture of employee ownership.
  3. Support operational effectiveness, efficiencies, and change management.
  4. Lead budgeting and annual business planning processes.
  5. Support strategic development and M&A activities.
  6. Develop policies and structure within the Finance department that align across the company.
  7. Maintain positive relationships with financial institutions, legal counsel, consultants, and the board.
  8. Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and audit requirements.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree and 10+ years of business experience, including leadership in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related industries.
  • An MBA, CPA, or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Significant financial experience with operations and strategic decision-making.
  • Experience in strategic planning, overseeing multi-site financial and support staff.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to present financial information engagingly and serve as a point of contact for inquiries.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire trust, motivate teams, and foster a positive work culture.
