We're seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance are crucial for success in this role. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of effectively managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Your Impact as a Maintenance Supervisor

In this role, you will:

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise the maintenance team to ensure efficient facility upkeep.
• Promote Safety & Compliance: Conduct and document fire control system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Establish and implement a preventive maintenance program to proactively address facility needs.
• Ensure Equipment Efficiency: Maintain and repair facility equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency power generators.
• Manage Supplies & Budget: Order and maintain an adequate stock of supplies and equipment while staying within budget constraints.
• Supervise Contractors: Oversee outside contractors performing repairs or maintenance work.
• Maintain Facility Standards: Ensure that all physical plant and equipment are in safe, operational condition and meet compliance regulations.
• Support Training Initiatives: Provide job-specific training to department employees to uphold safety and operational standards.
• Coordinate Facility Hours: Schedule department shifts in alignment with census needs and labor budgets.

What Makes You a Great Fit

We're seeking someone who:

• Has experience in facility maintenance, preferably in healthcare or long-term care settings.
• Holds knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems, boiler and water systems, and other essential facility equipment.
• Understands preventive maintenance principles and has experience implementing maintenance programs.
• Possesses strong communication and leadership skills to train and coordinate staff effectively.
• Is detail-oriented with the ability to manage a facility maintenance budget.
• HVAC experience is preferred but not required.
