Responsibilities

As the Director of Finance at St. Joseph Health in Bryan, TX, you will partner with operational leaders to provide financial decision support. Your role includes overseeing the development, performance, and maintenance of financial activities for the Brazos Valley Market. You will collaborate with the Market Project Manager to enhance financial performance and set annual goals with the Market VP of Operational Finance.

You will develop the annual operating budget, forecast models, and strategic financial plans with the Region Finance team. We seek a finance leader with proven success in partnering with operational leaders and a drive to become a CFO.

• Partner with operational leaders for financial decision support and strive for CFO readiness.
• Collaborate with Region Decision Support to evaluate business unit/clinic performance.
• Provide financial analysis to support organizational goals.
• Lead special projects related to strategic growth and financial performance.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
• Oversee the operational budget process locally.
• Support weekly Market deep dives with the Market VP of Operational Finance.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Healthcare Administration.
• At least 7 years of experience in the field and 2-3 years in leadership roles.
• CPA preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, general ledger systems; Meditech and Lawson experience preferred.

Pay Range

$56.56 - $82.01 per hour
