Role Overview

You will provide cloud operations for OCI ONSR realms, working with global teams to ensure high-quality service. This role involves a 24/7 shift rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as escalation point during complex incidents.
2. Manage change tickets, ensuring safety and minimal disruption.
3. Support onboarding of new services and tools.
4. Mentor and train team members.
5. Create operational documentation.
6. Identify manual tasks and drive automation.
7. Automate tasks for continuous delivery and availability.
8. Improve safety and efficiency practices.
9. Complete change requests and ensure realm compliance.
10. Resolve incidents and service requests promptly.
11. Collaborate with global teams.
12. Drive best practices in change management and deployment.
13. Design scalable, reliable architectures.
14. Troubleshoot complex interconnected systems.

Preferred Skills and Technologies

• Linux and Unix OS
• Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Scripting in Shell, Perl, Python, Java, Go

Minimum Requirements

• US Citizenship with TS/SCI w/Poly clearance
• Technology degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in automation scripting
• Knowledge of core protocols and Linux internals
• Experience with configuration management and monitoring solutions
• Understanding of cloud computing and mission-critical environments
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with change management and incident resolution
• Customer-focused mindset

Additional Information

This role offers a salary range of $63,000 to $126,100 annually, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Applications are accepted for at least three days post-posting.
