**Responsibilities**

As the Director of Finance at St. Joseph Health in Bryan, TX, you will partner with operational leaders to provide financial decision support. You will oversee the development, performance, and maintenance of financial decision support activities for the consolidated Brazos Valley Market. Collaborating with the Market Project Manager, you will work to improve the financial performance of the market and recommend annual goals to the Market VP of Operational Finance.

In this role, you will develop the annual operating budget, forecast models, and long-range strategic financial plans in collaboration with the Regional Finance team. We seek a strong finance leader with proven success in partnering with operational leaders for financial decision support and a drive to become a CFO.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with Region Decision Support to assist leaders in understanding and evaluating their business unit/clinic performance.
  2. Providing quantitative and qualitative financial analysis to support organizational goals.
  3. Leading business analysis and directing special projects related to strategic growth and financial performance improvement.
  4. Assisting Regional Finance with the preparation of annual operating budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
  5. Providing local oversight for the operational budget process.
  6. Supporting the Market VM of Operational Finance with weekly deep dives into market performance.

**Qualifications**

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Healthcare Administration.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the field and 2-3 years of leadership experience.
  • Licensure and Certification: CPA preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, general ledger accounting systems; Meditech and Lawson experience preferred.
