Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resource Generalist is responsible for daily HR Operations to include: recruiting, employee relations, employee development, and partnering with the business.
What you will do:
- Deliver an exceptional onboarding experience that sets the tone for employee success.
- Coordinate training & professional development that keeps teams growing.
- Lead the administration and optimization of the HRIS.
- Lead and participate in employee relations activities including workplace investigations, disciplinary and other employee meetings.
- Support recruitment efforts for both full-time hires, contingent workers and interns.
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and compliance.
- Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, tracking leave, processing employment changes, and ensuring compliance with policies.
- Respond to employee questions, concerns, and engagement efforts.
- Collaborate on meaningful HR projects, from policy rollouts to process improvements.
- Have regular off-shift presence. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including a regular presence on afternoon and night shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements: Education/Certifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Working Conditions and Physical Effort: - Typical work in an office/plant environment.
- Work environment occasionally involves light exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise as well as physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards when in our production facilities.

$70,127.00 - $124,487.00
