POSITION: .NET Application Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Application Developer is responsible for maintaining existing and creating new web applications, web services, REST APIs, and SQL databases.

DUTIES:

• Using modern object oriented programming languages create enhancements to existing applications
• Authoring new applications based on business need and case
• Supports and maintains database applications
• Develops reports and custom requests
• Performs system tuning, performance monitoring, and database maintenance
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• C#, Javascript, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, .NET Framework, VB.NET, JSON, WCF, SOAP, XML
• Understanding of N-tier architecture, REST API and SOAP Web Services
• Developing/Implementing Apps Consuming Web Services
• Experience in the design & deployment of complex SQL objects and relational databases design.
• Excellent understanding of Object Oriented software design
• Ability to Maintain and debug existing codebase.
• Good skills in database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server) including database design and development (T-SQL).
• Experience with application deployment and configuration in Microsoft IIS 7+
• High Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013+
• Understanding functional, operational and end-user requirements and how they translate to new application features

DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience developing Mobile applications for iOS and Android

Familiarity with DotNetNuke Content management system

Version Control (SubVersion, SVN, Tortorise, Git, Bitbucket)

Queue (MSMQ, Rabbit MQ)

• JIRA
• Agile SDLC experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS or equivalent experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read and process complex technical information

Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
