Under general direction, the HR Associate will be responsible for coordinating the onboarding and orientation process for all employees and contractors hired at site. The HR Associate will also help drive HR programs that focus on employees. The successful individual in this role will ensure all the necessary actions behind the scenes are executed so that employees feel a seamless experience with the HR function.

Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure new team members have a flawless new hire onboarding process by initiating background checks, drug screens, and completing new hire paperwork timely
Coordinate with appropriate teams to facilitate new hire orientation, including updating presentations in PowerPoint and delivering content on HR topics
Ensure the accurate input and upkeep employee records and I-9 verification
Preparation of regular and ad hoc reports, as needed
Execute accurate payroll on a bi-weekly basis
Ensure employee data changes are executed in ADP in a timely manner
Update Organizational chart, as needed
Respond to employee questions in a timely manner by having a thorough understanding of company policies, programs, and benefit offerings
Work closely in a team environment with the ability to partner with diverse teams and across multiple FDB locations
Maintain and reconcile expense reports for selected team members, as needed
Ensuring the employee experience represents our “People First” motto
Partner with People and Culture team or other committees in assisting and executing activities, events and initiatives
Provide general HR administrative support
Assist with the administration of Internship program, as needed
Lead the engagement team for FDBT
Other projects or duties, as assigned

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to exercise tact, discretion and the initiative to efficiently meet the demands of multiple internal customers
Courage to ask question for guidance and clarification
The physical requirements and activities that are required in order to perform the essential functions of the position include, but may not be limited to, as follows:
Must be able to occasionally lift, pull and push a minimum of 25 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to squat, kneel, and stoop.
Must be able to regularly use fingers, hands for computer work.
Must be able to frequently handle stressful situations and concentrate for long periods of time.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related area. (Previous experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.)
2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced customer-focused Human Resources department in an administrative role.
At least 2 years of basic computer skills in Microsoft Office products required.
Preferred Requirements
Previous experience in a cGMP environment, strongly preferred
Previous experience with iCIMS and ADP
2+ years of advanced Microsoft Office experience
