Job Summary:An employee in this position is responsible for assisting with maintaining correct inventories, shipping and receiving, staging/delivery of supplies and documentation, and other administrative duties necessary to efficiently run the warehouse.Duties and Responsibilities:Scanning in jobs/work orders delivered to the plant.Drive a forklift.Assist in loading next day deliveries.Verifying all items present for delivery.Reporting missing material for replacement.Organizing and maintaining the warehouse.Assist in delivery when others are out.Inventories material and supplies in the warehouse.Performs related duties as assigned by the supervisor.Job LocationBCSQualifications:Basic knowledge of a warehouse operation.Ability to follow established policies and procedures. 3. Ability to maintain and keep accurate records.Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.Ability to develop and maintain effective working relations with other departments.Ability to follow instructions and organize work duties accordingly.Ability to be flexible in work assignments and accept changes in duties and work assignments as needed.Essential Functions of the Job:Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objectsMust possess the visual acuity to prepare and use figures, operate a computer terminal, operate equipment, use measurement devices, do visual inspections, and operate a forklift.Must be able to work required daily and weekly work hours as determined by the schedule.Must be alert and able to identify and respond to a hazard by either reporting it immediately, or by taking corrective measures, if directed.Must be capable of communicating with managers and co-workers.Must have corrected hearing to listen to needs and instructions of supervisors, co-workers and customers and to listen to the environment to be aware of the surroundings.Benefits:Competitive wages and benefits including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, EAP, paid holidays, paid vacations, and a 401K retirement savings plan
